    Good afternoon everyone

After a relentless 15 years old search I finally got what missed so much to my Omega collection, a Constellation Dome with cal 352 and this one is the ref 2652-1. I won the auction following my strategy to bid in the last 9 seconds before the end of the auction and it worked finally today because the 15 previous times if not more over the years I have been outbid 1 or 2 seconds before the bidding ended. In relatively good shape , it will go to service and will get a new bracelet. Pics from the seller , will post mine when I receive it.

    Best regards

    Georges

Looks like a redial to me, note the single crossed 't's in 'Constellation, this is one of a few clear signs given you say an early 2652 with cal 352.

Did the seller state original dial?

I agree it looks redialled, cross hair is broken either side of star.

Looks redialled. Dial should look like this:

No, he said it was redialed but this doesn't bother me

It's not a pie pan either.

Surely this is a dome and not a pie pan

Apologies I see this has been pointed out

As long as you are happy with it then nothing else matters.

An 11.9 million serial number is very early for a Constellation, I'm not sure of the earliest but I think you are there or there abouts.

Serial number is well before any Constellation that I have seen. The lowest numbers I’ve seen are in the 12.3 million range.

I think that this movement may have been in a earlier Chronometre model (possibly Ref. 2517 or similar) and later transplanted to this Constellation case.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I emailed the seller to cancel the transaction and asked for a refund.

I want one with zero patina, an absolutely pristine movement and not a redialed one. If you hear about one in pristine condition, please do let me know as I have been hunting for a very very long time for one. Next month, I am not in a hurry. I have looked on chrono 24 but what I have seen was not in that great condition and prices were and are high for the condition the watches are. I will look on ebay and I will post the link of an auction if the watch I want is worthy the try so that I can have all the right feedback before bidding

I suspect if one like this shows up people will be tripping over each other to buy it, versus letting someone else know about it :D How much did you agree to buy the redialed one for? One like you are now seeking will probably be around $2k USD (and will not come around very often...).
