Advise on Omega 1098 Bracelet

Hello again guys, been liking the forum a lot.

I just bought an Omega 1098 bracelet and wanted to get opinions on if its authentic or not. I bought it because I got an Omega seamaster cosmic a few weeks ago and it had the wrong bracelet.

Were they selling it as genuine Omega? Im waaaay far from others experience on here, but that logo looks really shallow for a stamping, was it “stupid” cheap? That’s a sign sometimes?

Yes, they described it as a vintage authentic omega bracelet from 1970-1979
I just wanted to get more opinions since I don't have the experience.

There ya go, like I said, waaay novice here. What I have found is a lot of people will tell you it’s aftermarket when you ask.

Bracelet looks genuine. It is a very nice bracelet and I use to wear it with 540 Endlinks on my FOIS.

Your 1098 with 526 end links fits references 166.0036, 166.0026, 165.0026 and maybe some other watches.

Important for sizing: The removable links have springbars, so do not try to push them out.
That is the same as for the 1116 bracelet and here are some tipps for that:
