Hi everyone,
I´m buying my first vintage watch (I like the Seamaster gold and black dial), and I´ve been offered this one.
Is it original?, how much should I pay for this watch?, the second hand looks too long...
Thank you very much for your advise!

I like it. Yea it's been around and polished but most 50+ year old watches are if they were used as intended. The black and gold is a great vintage color combo.

Need a clear straight on photo of the dial
Hi, I don´t have that picture. How do you think is it? I don´t even know if the watch is working properly inside, I don´t have that picture either.
The case top is very worn/polished.
Is it easy fixable? How much should I pay for this one?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge

Definitely see if you can get pictures of the movement.

Once a watch is polished it cannot be "fixed" besides being polished again. That's why collectors will dedicate a lot of time to finding watches that haven't been refinished. Personally I don't think there's anything wrong with polished cases for everyday wear. My advice would be to have a look at what some gold capped seamasters sold for on ebay.

Thanks for your comment, and how do you 'price' a watch like this. How much should I pay, which are the critical things to focus on and what's the value of those things...

Photos aren’t great still, but the dial seems to matte to me and the font doesn’t look gilt. So my guess is redial.

Might be the angle of the picture, but it looks to me like the 9 is positioned almost at the edge of the dial while the 3 keeps a Corona-safe distance.
