·Dear all, firstly than you for welcoming me to the group and having inherited my late fathers Omega watch, I’ve joined your exclusive club.
I’m keen to know more about my dads watch, he’s been dead for several years now and I’m only just staring to feel right about wearing it. However I can’t seem to find anything quite like it on the internet?
I remember my dad telling me my mother bought it for him in the 1950s or 60’s and that it was meant to have a leather strap, but he had a stainless one fitted instead which it still has to this day.
For a watch that’s 60 or 70 years old it’s in good shape and keeps good time, but if anyone could help me to identify it please it would mean such a lot.
I don’t think it’s a fake, my parents were quite simple and uncomplicated people (in a nice way), they never had much, but always ‘bought well’ if that makes sense?
Appreciate your help in advance and thank you.
