Hey Friends - looking for a recommendation!

Just bought a vintage Ploprof. The watch itself is stunning. But it's running FAST - like gaining 10 mins per hour.

Who's the best watchmaker in the world for 1970's Ploprofs?

Would love to get a service while maintaining as much originality as possible. Thanks,
Spencer

I sent one to Omega HQ (Vintage Dept) in Bienne. I wanted a full restoration, which I got. Others have sent theirs in and requested only specific service (maintaining the original parts to the best of Omega's willingness). I suggest you reach out to them and iron out all the details before sending it in. You may run in to the "we will fix what needs to be fixed to maintain some degree of warranty legitimacy" attitude from Omega. If you work it out ahead of time, at least there won't (shouldn't) be any surprises.

Feel like I've heard horror stories of sending vintage watches back to the OEM. That they replace everything and destroy the original value.

Is there someone who's excellent (maybe authorized) who works regularly with vintage Omega? thanks!
