Advice on vintage Speedmaster

My late father's speedmaster. He bought it 2nd hand in the late 60s. He very rarely wore it. I don't have any paperwork. Serial number 19584498 - 321 movement - backcase number 105002-62.

Several things going on here. First, this is posted in the Modern Omega thread when this is clearly vintage. I'm sure your inbox will now be flooded with offers. I would put it on Ebay at a 6 day listing starting out at $1.00 and let it ride. This is a rare reference number.

Thanks for your advice. This is our first thread so we clearly need to find the vintage thread. Just to clarify we are not trying to sell the watch on this site. Just seeking advice. Thanks for your help.

Vintage is a whole subforum here, not just a thread.

Also, there are some threads about best places to sell. eBay tends to be the most recommended, and for more valuable watches consider some of the auction houses. They can charge a lot in fees, but they can also usually generate higher sales prices than you can get on eBay.

If you want any input on your watch, I suggest posting more photos, taken from different angles, and also photos of the inside of the caseback and of the movement.

Thanks for that. We are on a learning curve here. We will look for the vintage subforum and post more photos.

From the photos looks like a very nice example, where are you located?

Interested to see what the experts say.

Would love to have one like it!

For one, you've got a treasure there. So as the others would say, what do you want to know about the beautiful watch? Or, your question. I think by now, you have done your homework already. We are interested too. 😁

By jollygosh, that is a nice looking watch. Hopefully @GUZZI has the patience to not rush sell this even if hes/hers INBOX is brimming with offers by now.

On the inside of the case back are the letters SC. What do they mean?
