Yes, I just searched on "lift angles" and this was the first result...

https://www.lepsi.ch/lift-angle/

Here's another from the first page of search results:

https://watchguy.co.uk/cgi-bin/lift_angles

This information is not hard to find for anyone who is willing to take a few seconds to search.

Cheers, Al

well if that's the case then who needs you the expert watch maker? could it be that people (gasp) like to have casual discussions on this hobby? 😁

This looks a nice watch but does appear to need a service. You'd normally show the best timegrapher result in a sales ad which would be at full wind and in Dial up or Dial down. With the lift angle corrected, it's only showing about 210 degrees and with an unnecessarily high beat error as it's easy to adjust on these. Add the possible rotor rub and you'd definitely need a service.

I suppose the reason you've not recommended one, Al, is that all these lists have errors. The first one is completely wrong for most of the 1000 series and, no doubt, others as well. I am sure that Christian's list is more accurate but I suspect he's also made some errors in copying down in Excel which likes to increment the numbers each time - look at the Omega 240 to 250 calibres, as examples.

Could be true based on the issues in those lift angles above...🙄

Hey, I never said those were good lists! 😉 But since people didn't want to use the Google I thought I should help. 🙄

Yes as we have discussed before these have errors, and since many lists are copies of other lists, a lot of the errors get perpetuated. I have spreadsheets made by watchmakers, lists in pdf from Wostep, manufacturer's documentation, plus all kinds of lists from the internets...I usually default to the manufacturer, but even sometimes their information doesn't agree.
