Advice on this listing (60's Omega Geneve)?

Hey! Was checking this watch out and was wondering what potential issues there are?
Specifically i noticed that the "OMEGA" engraving on the movement seems to be partially faded, what could cause something like that?
Also the dial seems to be in pretty decent condition, id guess its a redial?
Last, but not least, the brushing on the case seems pretty fresh. Is that a technique that can be done with polishing? What were the Geneve cases originally like, brushed like that? Couldnt find a picture on the Omega vintage database (no picture available for 135.041).
Here's the link, and im also uploading photos from the listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/OMEGA-Gene...633029?hash=item3d8db7b945:g:w8gAAOSwIJZdDHNI

Thanks for your time and expertise, looking forward to learning!

Looks like an entry level Geneve in decent original condition.

Halfhearted attempt to restore the correct radial brushed finish IMO.

I guess it's just lighting/photography that makes the movt. look odd.
The dial looks good.
The case looks refinished to me. I would expect it to look worse IRL.

Well known seller from Japan with honest offers.

Watch is running fast +20 sec a day, remains of the rotten gasket
spread all over the movement so a service (200 USD +) is inevitable

Add 20 % VAT on the price if you live outside Japan

Adding this to the not very good refinished case (see above): I think this is a pass

Actually that's the correct finish for these.

I agree that the radial brushed finish is correct. But looking closely at the case, it looks to me that someone has been attempting to restore it by hand brushing, and it looks pretty sloppy.

Thanks everyone for the feedback!

Would you have an example of an original radial brushed finish, or that of a proper restoration?

You can easily find photos for yourself with a bit of effort and research. It is a standard sunburst finish done on a lapping machine. The brushed lines should be very even, consistent, and straight.

I’m a fan of the 135.041 Omega Geneve case.
They wear a little wider than other dress Omegas of that generation but are still slim in depth.
Although the hand wind 601 calibre is a great movement, IMO, you might consider an automatic 552 (no date) 165.041 case or 565 (date only) 166.041 case, which are insignificantly deeper but, again IMO, even better movements, all in the same 1**.041 case

For comparison, I have this one with, I believe, the original brushed finish:

Yeah the case is the most attractive part to me, for my current purposes at least. I'll take a look around for the no date automatic! Thanks!

Gotchhaaaa, that does look more even than the one I posted but still hard to tell. Thanks for posting that!
