The turd was listed on a French website named "Leboncoin", it's a bit like Craiglist or Gumtree

Quartz to boot.

It likely is an automatic. It appears to be the same movement used in any number of the cheap Chinese "chronographs" that are really just date indicators. Like on this Alpha Speedmaster "homage":

Hah holy crap.
Didn't even know they made fake Speedy Pro's (or at least watches that look just like them).

That's not even the "good" Alpha homage. There is one with proper subdials and a functional chronograph. They also have some more or less "original" designs. For a mechanical chronograph under $200, I'm not going to rag on them too hard

It's the original one from about 10 years ago. At the time they had the Daytona homage with the ST-19, but the Speedmaster Homage was one of the day/date automatic movements. There was a lot of clamoring for a handwind "Alpha Speedy" with the ST-19 but that didn't come to fruition for years. At the time I liked homage watches - these days, not so much.

I'm not a huge fan either. But I find they have their uses. I bought an Alpha Explorer when I was trying to decide if I wanted to target a 36mm Explorer. Decided the size wasn't for me and sold it on. But the blue sunburst dial was pretty to look at

It's a Winner!
Even Stevie Wonder can see the issues with that watch.😉
