Hello I have been in discussions with a seller about this Speedy. To my novice eye it looks like a reasonable watch. From what I can see: - The movement number appears to be in the correct range for a 67. Photo is attached but it's not hi-res and I'm not sure if I can get a better one. - The lume on the hands doesn't match the indices, so probably service replacements. - The drop-end chrono looks correct for this model even though the lume doesn't match. - The crown doesn't looks like it may be a service replacement too. - The baton on the hour dial doesn't appear to line up perfectly with the 12, so this may be in need of a service and some TLC. The seller is unable to provide a service history. Price discussed is around the $5,800 mark. Basically, I am after a good, honest cal 321 Speedy and I don't mind signs of use. Especially as I have a nasty habit of accidentally bumping watches on things. Does this one appear to fit-the-bill? Or have I missed something big? Thank you
You really need better pics from all angles. Especially inside. FWIK The case appears polished Hands are replacements Crown may be correct since the flat foot crown was phased out on the 67. Probably was changed if the hands were changed. Not Omega end links. Can't tell anything about the bracelet The price is not great for a 67 with replacement hands and a polished case. IMHO Good luck
Please make sure to "buy the seller." Don't bite off on a decent 321 caliber because you think you won't find another one, you will if you are patient. Make sure everything the seller is telling you makes sense and doesn't raise any red flags. If you can post the link to the sale listing, you might get more thorough help.
The bracelet adds no value so it is a head only deal... I think most 145.012 s head only with correct dial and a decent done are in the 4k ish range
A nice 145.012 in today's market for $4k? Dollars? Last I checked that barely bought you a decent 145.022-69
I felt that this watches condition was closer to 'Running' that 'Good' as per speedmaster101.com, so was hoping to negotiate it to $5k or thereabouts. I don't get offended if someone says NO! and won't lose any sleep if they elect to 'vent'. So the responses are really appreciated. Funnily enough: - the inside of the case-back says it's a 145.022-69?!?! - the bracelet has a raised Omega logo on the buckle that looks pre-1171, but I don't know what is stamped on the inside. Either way, those end-links don't look original. I'm starting to think this may have been put together from various left-overs, so will happily give it a miss. Thank you all
what i meant was that the op watch has an ok dial and ok DON bezel, right there that would be close to 4K if it was a great example with correct bracelet and correct hands that would bring it up 2-3 K now that he says case back is 145.022 i would not buy, but if some one paid under 4 k i would not fault them as the some of parts may make it worth it
