Dear experts, I am interested in this 18kt seamaster 353 calendar, but before taking the plunge, wanted to ask for your advice. It looks in great shape, apart from a service crown, with a nice clean textured dial. I find it difficult to judge the quality of the script, since on textured dials it always looks a bit mangy and not sure if it has been refinished. Same for the hands, which I have not seen like this before. I thought they were always faceted. Asking price is 1500 usd, so a serious amount of money....thus it really needs to be a perfect piece. Pictures are sellers.
