My wife bought me a Speedmaster several years ago and I wore it with no problems for a few years. One day I dropped it on the bathroom tile and it has never worked right since. It will not run for more than a few hours and the sweep second hand does not engage. I put it away for a few years as I was going to work in some rough places. Now I'm retired and want to get it working and cleaned, etc. Where is the best place to send it in the U.S., or should I send it to Switzerland ? I called Nesbitts and got a quote for cleaning, servicing, etc. but they have not had the watch so no repair estimate. I see there is a service center in Seattle . Any advice appreciated. I assume its worth the repair bill ?

I would send to Nesbitt's for an estimate and compare that to what Omega would charge. Once you have the info, I think you could decide who to send it to. It's not vintage so I wouldn't worry too much about sending it to Omega, IMHO, it's a cost thing, at this point.
