Been looking for one of these as a 50th birthday present for my wife (she won't ever wear a small, or...ahem....a cheap watch) with no date as they spoil, for me at least, the symmetry of the dial - dislike buying from abroad (although Zurich doesn't strike me as a huge risk) - for obvious reasons - but I'd be so grateful if you could cast an eye and let me know if all seems in order - can't find out much about the seller, they have stuff on Chrono24 & ebay - any thoughts? Couldn't easily extract photos from Chrono24 so link below and a couple of photos I could cut and paste from the site. Cheers.

First and foremost where is a pic of papers?

2nd for $2500 you can start thinking about putting in a few hundred more and getting something in 18kt gold. Big big premium on this piece. Oh ya, and your wife probably doesn't need box and papers.

Way overpriced. Even at 30% less I expect the case to be in better condition (this one is polished).
    Look here for comparable.

It looks like a decent watch.
Case has definitely seen a polish but not significantly.
Serial puts it around ‘63/64 but it could have been on the shelf for a couple of years - but I’d want to check the papers match if they say ‘66.
Bit of rotor rub - so unless proof of service it’ll need one.
However, £1,900 is a steep price as noted above.
    Even with box and papers.
    Dealer’s price I guess.
