Sorry for the poor cell pictures. I did get a look at the movement and it is very tidy and appears original to the watch. Is it worth $2900? I know not enough photos but what is your impression?
Snap look ... I'd pass as it's not attractive to my eyes. Some guys love an old tool watch to look like one. Hour hand likely a replacement? Generally needs a bath and hope the movement is more 'tidy' than the dial. Make sure your serial number matches the year, apprrximately 26 .. 27 million or so
Have a look at: http://www.speedmaster101.com/price-chart/ Looks like water got in there, although you say the movement looks okay? Seems overly pricey
I'd pass; if this was a more desirable '69 transitional, I'd probably roll the dice with it, but with the painted dial, dot-next-to-90 bezel, and general poor condition, I think there are plenty of better options out there. @Kringkily can get you into a mint 3570.50 for around this price.
The only thing that watch has going for it is the 225-220 bezel. the rest is pretty much a bit too far gone.
Thank a lot for all the feedback. I will definitely pass. I kinda had speedy fever there for a minute. Thanks for the reality check.
