Another 145.012-67 with a narrow T dial just went up for sale. Does this change anyone's opinion about the originality? I know MWO doesn't acknowledge this combination, but 2 of them...?

This watch is fishy. The story could be a red herring. Without it I would have said this is a relumed dial and handset. Movement screws are slightly turned, so something has been done.

Plots and hands are perfectly matched (not something I see). And the lume on hour hand is sloppy. Don't know enough to conclude.

I do not believe any 145.012 left the factory with a 105.003 dial. Although I have seen several 145.012's with non pro dials.

Where's the professional text on the dial?

I looked for all the small details and completely missed that! ::facepalm1::

I was looking at this last night before I went to bed... The Professional missing was the first thing that jumped out at me and I agree, the story could be a red herring. I was looking on my smartphone last night, but just gave a closer look on my computer monitor when reading this thread. In this picture:

Look VERY closely at the "3" on the hour counter subdial... if you look at the upper left part where it starts coming down (for lack of a better term) and compare it to the "3" part of the "30" in the minute counter subdial, it looks a little off to me. The upper left part of the "3" in the "30" seems to come down a bit cleaner (or properly), whereas the "3" in the hour counter in the upper left where it starts coming back down looks a little clumpy and with the slightest of angle towards what would be 7 o'clock. It's really nitpicking, and maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me, but could be another piece of evidence that something ain't right here. Just my .02.

I think the watch is legit.

If you look at the seller's other items, (a) he has several that are from storage locker auctions, (b) the stuff he's selling (schlock jewelry, dirty leather jackets) mark him as a flea-market type, not a builder of frankenwatches. He knew he had something special when he saw an Omega with 1968 papers, so he took some trouble to get it opened and photographed.

I'm willing to be corrected on this, but I don't see the problems on the hour hand lume, or the slightly turned movement screws. And if the screws were turned, couldn't that mean a service, which most consider a good thing?
