Hello all,

I am considering purchasing this omega seamaster with heavy patina (I know, a very controversial subject) but I love patina. I do have one question however.. I am used to seeing dagger indices on these “explorer dialed” seamasters but have never seen (what I believe to be pencil) indices. Is this correct/a normal dial
Variant from omega? Thanks for the advice !!

There are tons of variants for these - that watch is fine. It’s an attractive dial variant too IMO.

A couple of things to be aware of there, the crystal may be cracked at 6 unless it’s just a reflection and it has radium lume on both hands and dial. If neither of those things bother you (they wouldn’t bother me) then you are all set.

Doesn’t bother me at all! Thank you sir. How much would you pay/value this at without knowing service history?

Assuming it needs a service (and you should always assume that) I in that condition I guess it would fetch maybe $250 - $300 in an ebay or forum sale. That patina isn't for everyone and the crown looks a little ragged too. Then I would allow the same again for a service and crystal.
