    Hi,
I need an advice on a Seamaster 600. I'm not quite sure about the dial and the case back: I checked on Omega Vintage Database and I'm not sure that the back of the case is the right one. What do you think guys?
Base price 200 euro: what's the maximum offer you would place? :)

I thought they used a different logo in that time, otherwise everything looks good.
Black dials usually sell higher than regular white dials if i'm not mistaken, and the watch is in pretty good condition except for the crystal, so it might go for 300-400€

Looks fine, maybe a generic crown but that's not a big issue. The caseback may have had a bit of polishing/refinishing but nothing wrong there.
The 601 is a fine movement and the black cross hair dial is a bit rare and as this one is in good condition it may go higher than normal.

Follow my rule, if you really want it, just buy it, don't dither around because of a few dollars (or Euros in your case).

My dubt was about the match cal. 601, the model (Seamaster 600) and ref. number 135.012 on the back of the case. I did't find it on Omega Vintage Database. Am I wrong? Have I to trust OVD?
Well, I trust you guys, and thank you for the advices :)

Thought I remembered seeing something similar a few months back. This posting may be of some use to you. The logo is different but the reference in the link is a 135.011 while your watch is a 135.012. Not sure if the logo should be significantly different though. Someone more knowledgeable may chime in. I do know that these Seamaster 600s have a fair number of redials. I'd look up every reference I could find for a 135.012 to see about the logo. Price looks more than fair if the dial checks out.

The vintage database is far from complete, so it is not 100%. I just checked case 135012 on the Omega Extranet, and it does mate with a Cal. 601.

    Cheers, Al

Mid 1960s, this is just fine.

Mine has same brushed finish which I belive to be origional to this reference.

As Al said above this watch is just fine!

An all original Omega for under US$250 is a very good price. Assuming everything checks out, do the deal.

And that scratched crystal, polywatch will do wonders for that!

    Mine are the same too.

The brushed finish on this one has been applied after some restorative polishing, note the softening of edges around the slots. Probably done to remove scratches caused by somebody using the wrong tools/technique to open it in the past (my guess).

It's not a deal breaker though and in no way reduces the wantability of the watch.

I'd have it in a flash.

Very nice! :thumbsup:I like the red crosshair. At EUR200, I'd take it!

I've got a similar watch, but a Geneve (131.019) also with cal 601 and a very similar dial and hands, though the crosshair is white on mine, the lugs are skinnier, and the case back is plain.

Several dial variations of the Seamaster 600 were made, and you can see some here, from Old-Omegas.com
