Advice needed

I recently received an omega seamaster sn 53144518. However it needs some repairs. The band is too tight. I need one more link. Also the crown screws off when I try to set the time forward. And it's missing the yellow dot in the 1 position. Any idea where I might find a link and how much repaing the other things might run me?

Matching a lume dot at 1:00 may look just as bad as it does without one. Have you tried searching for a spare dial?
Quick search on ebay:

Loose crown is an easy fix by a local watchmaker.
Regarding the bracelet, I didn't see any links in a quick search. It looks like you already have it out all the way (maybe one more hole?). In a pinch, you can add an extender to the end of the clasp.

That's a personal choice. I see people asking $750 for a similar condition watch on ebay.
I would leave it but I like my vintage watches to keep the scars of service.

I used to have one of those Seamasters and sold it about a year ago. I couldn't find the extra links when I sold it.
But randomly came across them last month. Let me see if i can find them. You're welcome to PM me to discuss getting them over to you.

Disregard: I just checked the box that I keep all my extras in and can't find them. SMH 🙁

Regarding the link, there are two types of bracelets, the first generation and the second. They are not interchangeable. What you will find mostly is the second generation with two holes aka Polaris type.
It would be important to determine which bracelet you have.

When I first saw one of these, it sold for $160

These days they baseline at $400

Just buying another one in bad condition for $300 makes some sense

And the thing is, the $160 one was in mint condition compared to average, it just needed a new ETA movement
