Looking for feedback on this piepan. It's currently listed at 899.00 USD.

Looks to my (still learning) eye that it's a redial and a little over polished (though not that bad). Movement not tip top.

Yea looks like she's been thru a lot. The mismatched head links and sparkling polish job usually points to a hustler fluffing stuff up to sell.

Definitely nothing redeeming about that watch.

Well, except that it might redeem the Seller's wallet.

Yeah that movement looks not so good, unfortunately. And despite the polishing there are some DEEP scratches on it.

Does anyone feel bad for poorly cared for watches? I find myself feeling bad for them (I blame Toy Story for having us invest in inanimate objects).

Yea I would but only if they at least had a reasonably presentable original dial.

Interesting that a watch from (at the earliest) 1963, should have a movt from around 1960.
(And yes it’s a pretty poor redial too)

Definitely a redial and a so so case and movement. Good fairly priced examples of the 167.005 are not easy to find. Here’s mine.
