    Hi memento

The admiralty has quite a lot of different dials and cals. Some of them even have bezels, and some others have a straight anchor (and blue dial), instead of the slashed red one on yours.

I got one with a w hite-greyish dial and applied markers and a manual 601 cal, without date, and I also have the filo-flex bracelet, that I bought independently from the watch.

However, I am not convinced that I got the right endlinks (that's a recurrent nightmare with vintage Omega bracelets). Mine are 558, and I have seen the same bracelet (ref. 1122) with 608 endlinks, which seemed shorter than mine. Perhaps you could do me a favour, and if you still have the bracelet available, you could check the reference of the endlinks.

    Thank you very much.

Edit: don't bother, I have just found (after several months) a photograph showing the right filoflex endlinks for the admiralty. They are reference 563

These Admiralty are amazing watches. I think this might be a potential "transition" away from the dress watches for me. I especially like the brushed case, and those really elegant lug styles, married with a wicked dial! Congrats on yours!

[IMG]I picked this 1968 model up and had the crystal and hands replaced. Looks great now and the 565 movement is running great. This is before.

Memento, looks great after a little love. It is a nice addition to your collection. I am partial to Arabic dials and it gives you a different look from the other watches in the group.

there is a seller in Thailand, who sells many of these.....for what it is worth. a few sellers believe, they stumbled on a gold mine with these rather small watches. price wise in the speedmaster territory....strange.... kind regards. achim

Perhaps is the dial layout that is appealing to collectors? Who knows...
Basically these are the standard Geneve line, with the addition of an anchor printed on the dial. At one point these were considered to be uncommon, but there seem to be quite a few for sale.

I have been looking quite a bit and there are not that many for sale. Where are you looking?

Obviously these are not as common as Semasters, Connies, etc. But there are still a few for sale at any given time on eBAY and dealer sites for the past 15 years....
