·Hi all,
Hope you are well. I came across the discussions that you fine folks have been having about the IWC Ingenieur 666, and I would be very grateful if I could get some advice.
I came across this example of a 666— I think it looks rather beautiful, but I am not sure that the dial is original. The dealer says that it is a rare double signed turler dial, and an especially rare example because the turler logo replaces the Ingenieur logo.
However, 2 things give me cause for worry:
1) I have never seen an example where the turler logo replaces the Ingenieur logo
2) The turler print looks (to my untrained eye) rather too nice and the font a little too thick, as compared to other examples of turler signed Ingenieurs
I would be grateful for your thoughts and advice on this. If it was an original dial, I am strongly considering purchasing it. Thanks for your time.
