Hi !

I have been looking for an omega for 8 months and I just found this ad

I would like to know according to you how much would cost not to pay double the price this watch is also how much would cost to have it restored at the dial level.

The dial and case are both quite poor imo. I’d rather keep searching for a better example.

Dial restoration here would likely cost more than the watch will be worth as even when the dial is refinished, it won’t be original and the case will still be poor.

Hi,

This is a so called pie-pan Constellation.
The dial is damaged/rusted.
The hands have lost their lume.
The case is heavily polished.
Without a movement shot, it's hard to judge.

If the movement is OK, I would say this is a 400-500€ watch.

Cheers.

I would pass. This is a poor example. Be patient in your search. You can do much better.

I would pass too. It looks like at some point the dial tried to be cleaned.

I would pass unless this is offered at a very low price

I'd refuse it even if it were free. Too much temptation to spend way to much to restore it.
