This popped up, with a few days to go, during my random searches:

I was mildly intrigued by this comment in the description:

Condition Of Bezel: PLEASE NOTE. The Watch Is Fitted With A Black Bezel But Does Come With The Original Blue Bezel Damaged. Please See Pictures.

The bezel in question is this:

Alright, so one replacement bezel and the original.

What really piqued me was the fact that this watch had originally sold earlier in a separate listing, located in New Zealand as well.

When comparing the advertisements, it is in my belief that they are probably the same seller, and whoever was bidding and won changed their mind due to the bezel. I also noticed a lot of shill bidding on the first auction.

Seamaster 60s are not in my knowledge pool, so would like to learn more about this watch and what else to look out for regarding these models. If this is cheap (and there is no shill bidding) by the end of the auction it seems reasonable to go for it!

For reference, I have a 166.062 in both red and blue. They are stunning watches. Especially the Red on the DS&S mesh which was sold to be by a memeber last year.

Those watches look great! From what I can see with the one I'm looking at, the dial is original although lacking the 60 designation. I'll be keeping an eye on it 😀

Beat me to the punch!!

Notice the OP watch dial lacks the "60". I should, but don't, remember the significance of this. Is it also Original?? Replacement?? Best to look up other SM 60 threads and be sure.

Found a few threads featuring the SM60 (and you @gemini4,) however no questions were brought up about the 60 designation.

Instances I've found where this dial without 60 exist:

https://omegaforums.net/threads/adv...aster-60-diver-ref-166-062.14343/#post-161050 - featuring this original dial:

There is this one from the TZ Forums:

A couple of others on eBay:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/OMEGA-Se...825499?hash=item33c627be5b:g:NwkAAOSwcLxYHInh - original box and papers, also is stated as an 'original' dial:

And this red dial, which also appears original.

One thing I've noticed is that the movement numbers for these two watches and the one I'm looking at are in the 28m-29m range. I'm curious as to whether the year of manufacture will have something to do with the dial...

Here's mine from a few days ago from WRUW sans 60. I had the crystal replaced with a correct Omega one with the cyclops. When I saw the first picture, my first thought was what an incredible bezel! Then I scrolled down.🙁 I saw one last night on ebay with box and papers I believe from the UK for around $3600. I would guess that depending on when they were produced had to do with the 60 on the dial or not.
