Dear experts, I am considering getting another diver from the 70-ies, but have not seen enough of them to properly judge this one. Sellers pictures below and info show imo a clean watch, original dial & bezel, although dented between 4-5 o'clock and with a few spots. Movement comes with a service invoice mentioning cleaning & adjustment as well as plexi replacement. Case has not been polished (according to seller). Difficult to tell from pictures whether hands are original and service invoice does not specify. I have seen prices range from 500 - 2000 USD, so no idea what would be reasonable for this one. Any advice and comments would be appreciated. Thank you for taking the time!
The watch looks great to me, I myself been looking for a blue one but these don't show up often. Hands look like a replacement. The prices on these are all over the place though. here is a example that to me looks horrible and sold for $700 USD (might be great if serviced I have no idea). http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Vintage-OMEG...183511726?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item1e8b2588aePurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Here is a example that was listed at $2200 USD but best offer accepted. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Omega-Seamas...111165575?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item461b9fc287Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network How much are they asking for? I spent $550 for my burgundy 166.062.
Asking price is 1200 usd, so pretty hefty for a dented bezel. And the hands could be an issue, but it could also be the lighting making them seem new luminova versions.
