Accident fixed

I would just like to share a story. Recently, I have received my Triple date back after a few months at Omega hospital.
She’s home, re-united with siblings and plastic cousins… My triple date has been away at Ω watch service for months! Total rebuild and service… There was an “incident” that occurred whilst I was pressing the case back, back on one evening. The Crystal shattered and completely scratched the face and mangled all the hands. I am guessing that they had NOS face and hands to replace them with, or made them. You can imagine how I felt at the time, and it cost me a pretty penny to have fixed but I’m so happy with the outcome. LESSON LEARNED
Have any of you guys got any horror stories?

It looks brand new! Great results from Omega.

Was the work done domestically or shipped to Switzerland?

Hey @Dicey151 Welcome to the Forum.

Would naming her Steve Austin be inappropriate?

Do you have any pics of the mutilation? Or is it too gory for public consumption?

I don’t know actually, I think it may have been shipped to Switzerland, I will double check

I didn’t take any pics of the mutilation as I was a little too in shock…. Sent it off to a repair centre, but they forwarded it to omega as the job was too big…
They wanted to put a new case and bezel too, but it would have been a totally new watch apart from the movement. I told them to keep the case and bezel.

Keep my case and bezel on the watch, that is.

It was sent to omega by a repair centre that I had sent it to, but the job was too big for them , obviously. Lol
