A Visit to Johnson Space Center, Speedmaster Owner's Dream

Guys,

Just want to share some cool memories from Johnson Space Center that I think we, Omega lover, can relate to. So I got a chance to visit Johnson Space Center just south of Houston with my Speedmaster Chocolate. Here are some of the pictures. It was like a speed master heaven since you will see a lot of Speedmaster there and also they also have a booth to showcase Omega Speedmaster. My favorite is the humongous size of the Omegas Speedmaster on the wall! Check out the pictures guys.

So if you stop by Houston, TX, don't forget to wear your beloved Speedmaster and stop by JSC. Cheers.

I live in Dallas and REALLY need to go back there again!!! Last time I was there was 35 years ago. Still remember the gigantic Saturn V though.

Nice pics, thanks. If you’re ever in DC, the Air and Space Museum near Dulles has a few famous pilot watches. Ironically, Rolex is a sponsor of the museum.

I guess the question there is, does Rolex have their own exhibit there?

I'm curious whether the Speedmaster Pro's that currently go outside on EVA out of the ISS are the newer 1861 movements, or older 861 movement watches that they've keep running for many years, and are any 321 based watches still in operation today?

Crazy i was there last year with my speedmaster but i didnt see any speedmaster. Rolex sponsors that u r right!

Not really, they’re just are the official timekeeper. But Lindbergh’s pocket watch is there.

Next time you go, give yourself a little more time, spend a few more bucks, and go on the Level 9 Tour. Well worth the upgrade over the standard tram tour. You'll need to book in advance though. https://spacecenter.org/attractions/level-9-tour/
