What a nightmarish start. Fortunately Christian was experienced and thorough in his work! And I didn't know the cal.12s were so problematic in terms of long-term operation.

I' m pleased to see Christian getting good reviews. He has worked on three of my watches and done excellent work.
I deny I may be biased because he has married into my family!

Great piece, great result and good to see the original watchmaker footing the bill.

    I love Christian's blog. I picture him as a mad watch professor - he's a genius!

My latest purchase will (hopefully) be going to him to work on.

Nicely done - when you service a lot of vintage watches, you see all kinds of crazy things. Christian certainly has come a long way in the last few years.

    Cheers, Al

Good to hear the dealer stepped up to the plate and made it right, nobody can be perfect all the time but when things go bad, supporting the customer by letting a good watchmaker fix it properly and covering the lot is the way to handle it.

Heuer Auto-via..... sounds logical for a racing automatic chrono :D

Why did they not think of that?
