After a fruitless attempt to get an original Omega beads of rice for the De Ville I purchased a inexpensive copy. Fit not so hot. Back to the original search
Well after a titanic struggle getting the damn thing on the head we ended up with this. If you don’t look too close it is passable for me at least. Had to use the spring bars from the plain Omega for the De Ville.

@The Father, it appears from your pics it’s not the cleanest fit at the lugs..

@larryganz, note it was introduced as an inexpensive copy 😁

@The Father - have you tried using a flat nosed small pliers wrapped in electrical tape to try to bend those ends down? They seem to be angled up and bringing them back down could make for a better fit at the case. Since it would be pushing the endlinks back towards the bracelet, using a pair of fine needle nose or even a pic to elongate the rings inside the endlink wild help sit it further back (as it seems the lugs are a bit shallow for the endlinks). I have had success tweaking like this, sometimes not.
The long endlink/ short lug is usually why people struggle to get the spring bars to fit, even though they may seem to fit the case profile well when dry-fitting. It’s the position of the rings inside the endlinks in relation to the holes in the lugs. Slightly “stretching” those ring to be more oblong will give more distance between where the endlinks meet the case and where the spring bar slides through the endlink/last rings on the bracelet

Thanks
Will give it a try in the adjustment method

Those rings inside the endlink are the key. Just place the bare endlink against the case and look from underneath and you will see they probably just miss in alignement- that’s what made the assembly a bear
