Hi everyone, I know it's already common knowledge around here, but just would like to say what a class act Mike aka MSNwatch is. Long story short, I recently purchase a 2914-1 which came with a badly cracked crystal and aftermarket crown. I thought I found a good one at a watch shop and thus posted here to enquire, but found out it was a modern Omega crown. Mike saw my thread, and being the gentleman that he is, sent me the correct Naiad crown that I needed, refusing to receive anything for it. Just to help a fellow (newbie) collector. In a world where many try and profit from and take advantage of one another, these acts are truly refreshing. Another of my rambling, here's the now complete railmaster! Thanks again Mike!
Great story! I too, am still new here and I can really say that the people here are really very helpful and kind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ho Hum, what's new. This is what's great about this little community. Acts of generosity expecting no gratitude, made in the spirit of simply giving to help others. Restores your faith in humanity doesn't it (well, a little bit).
I had a friend who was really down on his luck. He had lost his job, and needed to sell his Seamaster 120 to pay his rent. I spoke to Mike about it, he agreed to sell it, and refused to take anything on the transaction. You are a first-rate gentleman, Mike, and I sincerely hope you don't find this kind of gushing over you embarrassing.
