Had water gotten into the case?

Amazing story!

No, it still worked. The only replacement was the glass that was not transparant anymore. No water in the case.

These stories are always amazing. I hear similar things on occasion with wedding rings and war medals. I had an amazing return on something but it wasn’t a watch so I won’t go into it. I can’t help but wonder if something greater than pure chance is involved in these situations.
