A new watch. And a new problem

Side note, took my Speedmaster on a Panama Canal last year (100 degrees during the day) Added full link plus used the extension during the day (since no half links option) at night it was loose. In the future, will bring a rubber strap for the daytime.

We shouldn't have to do that. Throw in two half links with the bracelet and the issue would resolve itself.

And yet they don’t do it

Yep, others half links, on the fly adjustments with butterfly hidden clasps, and don't get me started on quick release bracelets.

But Omega's going to Omega.

Same issue with a butterfly clasp in mi Longines. I’m starting to think that losing some weight is the best option 😅

I previously owned this watch in 41mm and like you, I couldn't get along with the bracelet very well (although the issue was not as annoying for me). The best solution I found was to wear it on the flat link bracelet from the horizontal teak dial. For whatever reason, it was much more comfortable.
