Hi everyone,

Hope you are all well! I signed up a few weeks ago and I just wanted to say hello to the OF community. So far I have read various posts about vintage watches and what to look out for when buying them. It's a great forum and I still have lots to learn. Btw, I'm a German living in the UK so feel free to message me if you need travel advice for both countries 😉 (but I guess this will take a while until everything goes back to normal).

Also, I don't own a Omega watch yet but I am trying to change that.

Hello and welcome, you do realise that by joining this forum you have started down the dreaded path of always wanting just one more watch to complete the collection.

So if you buy a Speedy don't forget that you will need to buy a Seamaster as well otherwise the collections ying and yang will be unbalanced leaving you with bad karma. 😉

Thought I would share this with you. Thanks to the OF I’m also now a proud Omega owner. As mentioned above, I guess it won’t be last one I’ve bought.

Edit: I just read you have an Omega, congratulations. I’ll amend my second sentence accordingly; And if you only own one Omega, this is a very dangerous place to be 🙄

Yes, I'm agree my wish list contains 90% Omega watches since I registered 😉
