Is that a torpedo in your pocket, or are you just happy...

Two lovely ladies, a speedy, almost perfect pic but the Colnago T-shirt when you ride a Schwinn paramount is blasphemous.

Oh and I meant blasphemous as in Paramount > Colnago. :)

My Colnago K.Zero TT bike is definitely the odd man out regarding my Schwinn Paramounts...I own three Paramounts...a 1989 Waterford Paramount, a 2011 Paramount Series 9 carbon and a 2011 Paramount Series 8 carbon. I will say that my Colnago K.Zero has done me right...it fetched me a 2nd place in the USA Cycling State of Ohio Masters 50-54 Time Trial Championship back in 2015 [pictured below].

@Mad Dog Sorry for taking this off track. Great pics and nice ‘nago. The pics of you always pointing to the watch, lol, love it.

    Thanks!

I point at my watches quite a little bit.

I like pointing at my watches...especially my Speedy Gonzales Moonwatch.

Do you need some burn cream overnighted?

No cream needed, I didn’t know he had a Colnago, always saw pics of the Schwinn. I’m into cycling myself and know he has a couple nice rides.

Do you think that was a burn? I was burned on a forum, I feel bad now.

Nobody got burned...and if anything, I should be burned. Although I still own my Colnago K.Zero TT machine, I’ve loaned it to one of my masters teammates for the past few seasons since I’m sort of burned out on the whole racing scene. I figure that if I loan it to one of my teammates, I’m being a good teammate...and I have a great excuse to not do TTs...which are very painful. That’s pretty lame of me...I should be burned. :D

Also, @Mtek and @Foo2rama ...I should also probably be burned for sometimes showing up at various group rides with my Colnago K.Zero [not with the pictured Zipp Super 9 rear disc tubular and Zipp 808 front tubular but with Mavic clincher training wheels]. As you dudes probably know [and may have experienced on group rides]...when someone shows up to a group ride with a dedicated TRI or TT bike, the other riders get nervous because nobody wants to be near them due to the instability of the aero position. I don’t ride in the aero position on my K.Zero on group rides...I ride on the bullhorns...and I always announce that prior to starting the ride as well as that I’ll ride in the very back...BUT...I still have showed up on a TT bike. And for that I should be burned. :D

@Mad Dog I’m surprised you lent your TT, got burned out, looks like your built for it.

Group rides I think the bike snobs would give me the most flak for Shimano on the Colnago and not “proper” Campy. The tubular and clincher they prolly wouldn’t even notice, except for those are not Campagnolas either.

I'm tired [for now] of all the pain...during both training and during racing. I trained hard and raced hard for about 3 years [2013 - 2015]. That was enough. Many of my masters teammates have been training and racing for over 25 years...I don't know how they do it. I may get back into it later...in the meantime, I hope I don't get the boot from our masters team...but would understand if I did.

I've received some flak for having the Dura-Ace [and not Campy] on my K.Zero...it's interesting to note that the K.Zero frame is made in Asia [Taiwan, I believe].

Ooooo, chocolate and vanilla! Next time you stop at that Hooters, see if Maddie wants a position as our "domestic help".

Also, @Mtek ...regarding my Colnago K.Zero, I also road TT’d it fixed gear since it has horizontal dropouts. My dad was a successful amateur track racer in the late 1920s and early 1930s so he introduced me to fixed gear riding in the mid 1970s. Anyway, my K.Zero in 55X13 [pictured below] allowed me to break our local Cincinnati road time trial series fixed gear record a few years back...it was a blast TT’ing that thing in fixed gear configuration. But once again, I picked Dura-Ace track components instead of Campy track components...man, I suck...time for me to get burned [again]. :D

Hey, I found a video of you riding - passing everyone left and right! I LOL with uncle Chester, and that must be you under the mask, based on how huge your thighs are.

I switched from Levi 501s to Wranglers partly because the Wranglers have a larger watch pocket that my 18s watches fit in easier, they are also $20 cheaper.
