A modern 37-39mm pie pan connie. Why does'nt it exist?

gatorcpa[, do you recommend this watch? I have an opportunity to purchase one for about 10K, or (gulp) twice as much as I've ever paid for a watch...
That price seems quite high to me. I haven’t seen one in several years, so I am reluctant to “recommend” it.

If there were a larger version of a pie pan Connie, it would certainly pique my interest. 34mm is just too small for my wrist...judging from my jumbo memovox, 37-38mm would be ideal, but it would need a date - watches without a date only do half the daily work I need them to do.
