Ha. No worries. It was a smallish cafe, and no one else seemed to care what we were doing (and only a few at most exposed at any one time). Pretty safe neighborhood, as cities go, near the U of C.
Near the U of C is as safe as it gets just don't venture too far south/west from there (I'm sure you wouldn't anyway)...also it's probably too damn cold/snowy/icy for thieves anyways. Stay warm fellow OF Chicagoites!
