Today, Omega is expanding its Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch collection with two new bicolor/two-tone models. It’s an exciting day for those who may have wanted the latest movement and updates but found the all-steel models too boring and all-gold versions too expensive. In other words, these two new Moonwatch variants could be the perfect middle ground. […]

Yuck. At least add some gold on the clasp...
I’m rather glad they didn’t as that’s where the main scratches happen, steel makes a bit more sense there imo.

I’m a big fan of the Italian market vintage two tone too, I wonder if they’ll swing back in that direction of some metal bezels at some point

I agree, I glad they left gold off the clasp....but would have looked cool to do just the Omega logo in the gold on the clasp, would have been just a nice little touch of gold. I am a huge fan of two tone and I love both of these (wife likes the Sedna gold a bit more)....

I like the Sedna gold version. I doubt I would own it.

Good additions to the catalog IMO. I like the RG one most. No Speedmaster in my collection yet, but I’d strongly consider the RG (along with Snoopy 50th). The base black and white models just don’t do it for me when I see them in the metal.

The 70's want their era back.

That Sedna gold model is pretty sharp. But a $10,000 premium for these will keep demand in check.

Overall, a nice addition to the Speedmaster stable. Thank goodness they come with sapphire crystals or I'd feel compelled to buy one.

I saw the Moonshine one in the store this past weekend. Do I like it better than my sapphire sandwich 3861? No, but like the new white dial, it still looks actually really good in person and the weight was nice. I think the shine it puts off is hard to capture in photos and it's something you'd need to see in person. The dials were also very attractive. Variety was something we got with Aqua Terra/Diver models and people seem to have been asking for some moonwatch 3861 variety for some time. I also bet they look killer on that new 3861 rubber strap.

Not for me, but more because I'm not looking to add another speedy to the collection right now, and I'm already rocking the 70's with a Sedna steel mix version of the Globemaster (I know, I know, each to their own taste and all that....).

Don't actually mind these too much, although on checking the Omega website they don't really do themselves any favours with the photos / colours. To me on there the Sedna looks really REALLY pink, whereas I'm looking at my GM in real life and it's a much more subtle colour.

I like the Sedna Gold version more than the Moonshine. I think the bracelet would look better if the whole center link weren't gold and it was just the polished part that was gold similar to the Seamaster 300 Diver two tone.

The bright side: we have now officially exhausted every possible Speedmaster variant!

Edit: apologies. Just had a colonoscopy and that statement came as I was coming out of sedation…

I suppose I'm getting older since I'm warming up to these gold and two-tone pieces. I'm not interest in owning them, but they do look good in the wrist photos
