路Hi guys,
As the title says, I had two Constellations arrive within the last week. I wanted to share some photos as a reference since I didn't see other similar examples during my original search.
14382:
I already own a 14381 in SS and was excited to see this gold Constellation with very similar dial configuration. The seller did not know whether it was 14k or 18k gold. I ran it by Desmond before buying and he confirmed that it has the attributes of a Deluxe 14382 (gold case and gold dial). When it arrived, the caseback is marked 14381/2 as would be expected and is 14k gold. Desmond believes that since this was a watch delivered to the US (with OXG movement stamp), it was cased in 14k.
2852:
The 2852 is not an uncommon reference but I believe that this dial configuration may be. It started its life as a black dial and has aged to a very even brown with gold lettering remaining. This dial also has radium filled hands and markers. I have seen one other example of this type of dial on OF, but it was white.
