·As it’s Christmas and I’m feeling rather mellow after a very nice lunch with my son and his partner I’ll join in. The first pic some of you will have seen before as I posted it in November, my better half and I on our wedding day in November 1969. The second photo is my wife (the same one!) on her birthday in Lake Garda in September this year and the last photo is of me today, and before any comments I am well aware of which of us has aged better, I consider myself very fortunate, I have only had to pay for one house and no divorce costs!
Now that I am retired my wife still works part time, being a University academic, and shows no sign of wanting to stop.
Happy days indeed. Merry Christmas and a Good New Year to all.
