·Hi All
First of all apologies if this is a tiresome type of thread but in a bit of a pickle.
My brother is looking to sell his 22218000 (c.2011), I will be most likely selling it on his behalf as I'm a little more savvy on forums and the usual sites etc. Neither of us have sold a watch before, which wouldn't be a problem but there is a snag with some of the papers. So my two questions are:
1) What would be a good starting price to sell this 22218000, i've seen £1,500 to £2,800 so not sure how the issue re below will impact this. It's in pretty good condition, bought new from Goldsmith(UK) and has been serviced twice since purchase (current service is in at the moment), have the original box but I'm a bit confused by the paperwork situation which brings me on to;
2) When purchased, he got the usual warranty card, pictogram card and Chronometer Certificate but annoyingly (and not uncommon apparently) they all have the wrong information on (different Ref and Serial). Oversight when he bought it obviously but not something he was really aware of as it was his first watch. They are going to send him and new pictogram but won't replace the others, will not having the 'full set' harm the price of reselling? I mean it's absolutely ridiculous they can't/won't correct their mistake but not sure if there's much more we can do.
When it comes back from service I will take some pics as I know it's hard to judge based on the above, but just some rough indication would help.
