Unfortunately it appears that one of your endlinks is a fake
the 6 is stamped upside down and it's missing the ridge on the backside

...now it seems ending the auction early would be the best idea 🤦

Well well well. I'm gutted to find that there is an issue (now you have pointed it out I can see)
But pleased that the auction didn't run and get to silly money only for me to send to a buyer and dissapoint them etc.
Unfortunately the person from where these links came along with bracelet and watch is no longer with us to tell the story of where they came from or where the dodgy one came from.

I have pulled the eBay listing

Im pleased that this error has been brought to my attention as I wouldn't have wanted to upset an excited buyer!
I'm disappointed not to be the current owner of 2 X no6 end links and as such I will shortly at the bottom of this, provided I can stop it being diluted with my own tears.

Yep, and I've already had a message giving me short shrift off someone who'd asked for a buy it now price as he suspected I'd sold the links. I naturally put him right and he made a polite request tone given first refusal on the genuine ONE! 🤦

I'm new to this. The forum has helped me understand what I have (or maybe thought I had) and I understand how passionate people are about genuine parts. Would hate to disappoint and am happy to soak up the knowledge that is provided here!
Look forward to chipping in on any future no 6 posts....
