For the dive collection that has everything but a New Zealand assembled BAAZ; here's a mint one for you! BAAZ watches were assembled in Wellington, NZ between the late-60's and early-80's from Swiss made parts (Watex Watch Co SA) with ETA movements. This was to avoid crippling import taxes which existed at the time on fully-built watches... This automatic example with date has a stunning deep burgundy dial with bezel colours/markings that work really well with the dial. The lume isn't tritium as holds the glow for some time. No service history but the watch keeps excellent time. Reduced to USD 400 (or equiv in any major currency...) - can't include FedEx or DHL at this price but will post worldwide... This 70's stainless steel diver has almost certainly never seen water - at least not with salt in it; it's in mint condition with unmarked hands, dial and bezel, and just a couple of tiny marks on the case. Case back is engraved with a diver/speargun combo. Outer bezel rotates easily. Claimed to be water resistant to 20 atmospheres... Measures 36mm without crown - 39mm with crown, but 'conical' case shape and colours make it wear a little larger I think. The tropic-like strap is likely original to the watch. I have been more of a buyer than seller on OF, but have references for each in the seller review forum. https://omegaforums.net/threads/smooth-transaction-with-kiwibloke.132135/ https://omegaforums.net/threads/excellent-experience-with-kiwibloke.130450/ https://omegaforums.net/threads/triple-a-deal-with-kiwibloke.113997/ Thanks OF for the chance of offering something NZ (assembled) to the world! Cannot say unique - but guarantee you won't see another on someone's wrist!
Bump with reduced price but still inclusive of worldwide shipping! Put a mint, quirky and very, very low volume diver on your wrist...
