I have an opportunity to purchase a 70's LUCAS chronograph, but I cannot find ANYTHING about this watch online? I've had it on my wrist, but the watchmaker was opposed to my taking a photo of it. It Is Very similar to this Boluva, but with a wonderful blue/grey dial and 2 white subdials and date at 6pm. The chrono hands are Heuer-esk red and square in shape. Any input is helpful
According to mikrolisk the Lucas brand was owned by Timor watch, in that time very far from his glory days of military watches. The watch himself will be from the 60\70's and the caliber will be most likely a Valjoux 7734. So the watch was one example f one of the dozens of brands in the market back then, not specially desireable in collection terms. I've seen those ("unbranded" and from that era) go for 2 or 3 hundred My 2 cents
Thank you! I suspected it might be a 7734, but I wasn't familiar with the Lucas name, so I appreciate the feedback and price range. It is priced in that ballpark, and looks like it may be a pretty cool gateway watch for someone.
