Can that really be true? A yellow gold Rolex DD on bracelet from the same era weights around 140g 馃ケ

This behemoth weighs a metric ton, at least! The YG DD feels like a post stamp in comparison.

All the quintessential 70鈥檚 elements, gold and funky aventurine dials...

Love it!

Nice one, can image that it weights a ton on the bracelet. But didnt think it would be a 200g watch on a leather strap 馃榿

Some of my favourite, funky stuff from the 70s

That's an original HP-35 in the background, and a Ricoh laminated bamboo slide rule -- "Omega" model.

Here come da judge.... or some more 70鈥檚 color.

Some good colorful examples there. Here I was going to post my Cimier slide rule chronograph and you posted 7 of them already! ::facepalm1::

It's not about the year. It's about the GROOVE. 70s...late 60s...you gotta feel it, baby. Bring out those clunky, crazy shaped cases, wild colors, and funky designs that went perfectly with your lime green leisure suit or the striped bell bottoms and bright yellow shirt with the huge collar and puffy sleeves you wore in 3rd grade. And this is a great place for those sexy jump timers and LED (and LCD) digitals that were outtasight in the 70s. SOLID! Keep on truckin'!

Remember "I can't believe I ate the WHOLE thing?" Another 70s classic from the decade that gave you "two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, on a sesame seed bun." I will never forget that, but I can't remember anything since.

That 2nd watch down is a sexy beast. What brand is that? I cant see it too well. Look like Orient?

In fact such kind of wear around the crown result from everyday winding and not from a Sleeve.

One of the last watches Tenor-Dorly made while going bankrupt. Debuted at The European Watch and Clock Fair in 1975, and the company was gone that year.
