Relatively new collector here. Love the quality and aesthetic of these beautiful timepieces. Up until now bought a couple of Omegas for a few hundred bucks and been using one as an every day watch and it's been awesome. My watch guy had this piece that I deliberated about and finally bought after waking up one morning dreaming about it. I'm hoping the group here can tell me I haven't made a mistake as I'm still getting used to spending thousands on a watch. I plan to keep it as a permanent part of my collection. Look it over and give feedback please!

Seems genuine to me if a little worn. My personal preference is a leather strap to the beads of rice bracelet.
A lovely reference , that isn’t that easy to obtain. Think price wise , they are a good investment now.

Good news! Thank you sir! I've got it on leather as that's my preference as well.

Hi and congrats on your seamaster chrono.

Dial seems to be legit, not sure on the hour and minute hand (maybe it is just the Foto but I think they are too thick)

Here is mine

That's a beauty! I think you've got a different reference number as your pushers look like the longer ones. I googled my reference and came up with this pic which shows the wider hands. I do like that slim look though!

Mine is also a 105.005

For me it seems like the minute hand is original and the hour hand is a replacement.

Apologies! I looked at the picture wrong. I do believe I've got the wrong hour hand. Thanks for the feedback. Good eyes!
