6239 Correctness Check

Hi guys,

I'm looking at this 6239 and wanted to ask the collective for a check to make sure there's nothing lurking (also posting this on TRF, just FYI). Not asking for any valuation as that's just down to what I'm willing to pay for what I see. Waiting to hear about the serial but assume it's earlier than 1966 as it doesn't have the crown 'bump' on the case that started around then. Here's what I've noted.

- dial / lume / hands appear to be in very good condition
- bezel is slightly later (Mk I 200 UPH instead of 300 UPH)
- upper right and lower left lugs look somewhat worn
- service crystal?
- caseback doesn't have CRS stamp - not sure it was on all early examples as I've seen some others without it
- movement appears good but upper left bridge (the one with the wheel that engages the chrono hand wheel) looks lighter, also something that I've seen on other examples and may have been replaced at a service
- waiting for bracelet pictures but has correct 7205/60 rivet

Please let me know your thoughts, if I'm wrong on anything, and if there are things that make you suspicious or concerned.

Thanks in advance, Andrew
