Here's mine, together with its two best companions. Consider these my personal "Trilogy". Number is 5xx. Bought it beginning of December at my AD. It is one of these purchases that wasn't planned, i.e. I hadn't ordered one - already bought another watch in 2017 and thought that's enuff for that year. However, when I strolled by the shopping window of my AD on a Sunday evening on Christmas market (many tourists there), I saw it in the window! I said to myself that on Monday after work I would go there and if it is still there I would buy it. And so it was; even got a little discount. Actually I had thought that it would be snapped by a tourist, but apparently the watch wanted to sit on my wrist. The AD said he was happy that this great watch would stay in town;-)

It's interesting how the dial changes colour in different lighting. Grey:
Chocolate:

Some originals just for fun. These have all aged differently:

Nice. My personal trilogy is almost the same, just swap the Speedy Pro for the Speedy Tuesday.

Lately, I've seen posts here and on other forums on people receiving or buying a new Trilogy Speedy in an AD. Now, that Baselworld '18 is over, these posts have got me thinking . . .

Question: Are there forums members who have ordered this piece and are still waiting??? I would sure hope not . . .

I’m still waiting for one more — the RM, but to be fair I didn’t sign up for this model at the onset. Apparently this is somehow becoming an elusive piece.

I had been eyeing this one since the release, but sadly funding situation wasn't great after I got the ST. Fantastic piece by the way 😀

Now, I am also curious to know how easy it would be to get a hold of one of these. Is it worth it calling various OBs/ADs to check? Or are these now just going to pop up from time to time on the interweb and that too above retail?

Is it still possible to order from AD?

I suppose by this time, it is either they have the stock or no. Most orders should have been fulfilled and shipped. Prices online are pretty reasonable though. So might not have a need to purchase from ADs.

is the difference between the 001 and 002 versions just the hands and colour of the hands?
331.10.42.51.03.001
331.10.42.51.01.002
thanks

Isn't the difference the dial text? Presumably one is the stand alone LE and the other the one from the 557 sets of 3.

Those are the '57 co-axial, and both references totally different from each other.

The 60th anniversary reference is 311.10.39.30.01.001.

Breaking News: Omega Speedmaster Reference 2915-1 Sets New Record At Phillips Geneva, Breaking $400,000 Mark

https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/omega-speedmaster-sets-new-record-at-phillips

Thanks for the post!

Just wondering how this news will impact the “demand” for the Speedy 60th and the Seamaster 300 60th. I think both are truly a reincarnation of the original model and what makes them exciting is that both watches were reissued by Omega.

Both are easily available on eBay, chrono24 and on watch forums. Once the initial supply runs out they may go up in value.
