Can anyone share (PM me) the price to which you guys paid for the 1957 Speedmaster?

I found a lightly used one for around 6650 USD..... wondering if its a good buy?

Not forgetting GST of 7%. So that will be about only S$500 cheaper than getting locally at retail. Not really worth it if you ask me.

No. I'm in the US and I have a full deposit on it. Thanks though

Omega really got that tribute watch right. It’s stunning and amazingly faithful to the old boy that inspired it. Those bezels with some false patina might become an issue. Has this eventuality been discussed in a thread?

I have my second '57 incoming. This time I won't sell it. Luckily I was on the list with two different AD:s. The AD that called me this week only recieved one watch so far. And they doubted that they would receive another. I'm quite happy! They also told me that the regular Speedmaster Pro has been a real big seller this christmas. By far their most popular watch in that segment. (and they do sell Rolex as well - however they also suffer from lack of inventory).

That's encouraging re the sales of the Speedmaster Pro (no idea what the current ref. is). It seems to be getting more popular as years go by, which is good for values of all the old ones, of course. I have a feeling this homage 57 is going to hold and increase in value, unlike the one made in the 90s using the twisted lug case and less convincing bezel. I'll ask my wife for one for my bday just to see her laugh.

Just bought off from watchuseek!
Congrats! May I ask how much you had to pay for it? They seam to sell with a premium even if someone earlier in the tread claimed that “everyone is selling....”
Anyway, I think you will be very happy with it!

Beautiful strap!

I haven't seen anyone pair this on a reddish colored strap; very unique and it works!

Mind sharing the strapmaker's name?
