Anyone up for a NYC meet up when one of these lands, I'm in CT. NYC OB won't display other first arrival watches to me no matter how many times I asked 😀

I would love to know what Omega's process is on order deliveries. Since there are no OB's in the Boston area, I've used an AD. I put down a 50% deposit on March 30th. I assumed those that ordered from OB's had first priority over AD's. Yet, it appears the first official delivery of the Speedmaster was to an AD in Switzerland not an OB.

Is it based on who ordered first? Some AD's and OB's required 100% deposit - do they have priority? Is it some lottery system where they pick a number of of a hat?

At least we know they are slowly trickling out to their lucky recipients. I'm preparing myself for a nice present under the Christmas tree since I received coal in my stocking last year. 😉

I also received no such email from the 5th ave OB, despite having made my reservation before the watch was even in their system. They called me back as soon as it was and they were able to take deposits, and I gave them my CC right then and there. I'm assuming that customers with pre-existing relationships with the OB are being given priority, because I'm not sure how enough people could have beaten me to pre-order that I wasn't even contacted.

Congrats! Did you have it on order from a boutique or an AD? And did you get any advanced email warning, or did they just call you up out of the blue with the news?

Also, make sure you take pictures and post them here 😀

My guess is that they do it on a random basis, that's all. In Paris, I have heard of 2 OBs getting one each. I still have not heard of any set being delivered. I'm just afraid that this process will keep on going for weeks, if not months.

I have had contact with them several times, they confirmed delivery for end of Augustus, and than later for end of September. Yesterday, I just got a phone call. 37066922396_4912179482_h.jpg

Nr. 227! So quite low number, considering that I only ordered hem via an AD on the 14th of June.
