I'd like to see a straight on photo of the dial, but I'm not so sure.

Did you see the first photo I've posted?

Yes but it's still at a slight angle. I don't think it's a redial. What makes you think it is? I may be missing something.

Trying to find a similar dial but cannot find it. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong places?

Running 1-2 min fast.
Do you guys think $500 is overpriced to purchase?

Depends on what country the dollar is based in.

Weeeellll, here we go-
Case is pretty sharp, nicks and scrapes I can deal with, it hasn’t been polished to death so that’s the good part
Would need to see case back photo to see if that’s worn to a nub or still sharp.
Dial patina is a love or hate thing- I’m in the camp that any is too much- so even at $200 I would pass. But as for market rate on a strait case and evenly patina’d dial, it’s on the high side, $400 would be better. Then factor in $2-350 for a service (depending on where you are and what it needs), and you are pushing $7-800...and the dial still is a love or hate thing.
If you love it and can get the price down then it’s worth it to you- it’s original, so not to worry about it being a redial or Franken. But as far as resale later if you do decide to sell it that dial is always gonna hurt you.

Oh man Jay dubbya throw me all your rejects! That dial is aged just right for me. For $200 I would buy that watch in a New York minute. 😁

Super helpful. Thanks so much for your reply.
I got it down to $450 but still the servicing fee is what's scaring me.

I received some caseback photos but also was informed there is a scratch on the crystal. Photos attached.

I disagree with my pal Jay dubbya that the dial hurts the value of that watch as the patina is actually pleasantly consistent. I just upped my number to $300 I would pay but agree with my pal that if you pay much more you will end up buried in the thing and won't recoup your investment if and when you want to off it.

As I said, love or hate on patina- Fred likes them a little crusty 😉

Crystal is a usual replacement during a service. I wouldn't sweat that. If you're one of those weirdos, it can be polished out, too.
