Although the dial looks reasonable enough generally, I was interested in the "seamaster" script? It is OK to have that flattened S? Most others I have seen have a rounded lower curve. I'm pretty sure the crown is wrong but that is a minor point. Lum hour dots with what looks like skeleton hands?

    It's a Dennison case.

    Cheers

Those aren't skeleton hands, rather they are relumed or modern replacements. Lume plots on the dial looks correct, though.

The S is correct for that period. The rounder S is from later models, starting in the very early 60's.

Dial looks fine, as noted the hands look off I'd say they have been replaced rather than relumed.

I had a 56 with the round S :) Pretty much same hands, dial furniture etc.

This is a later replacement dial or a redial...and looks a little too white to me.

Thanks for the replies chaps, I shall keep a watch on the Ad.

Yes, thanks for that. A closer look does show the dial to be just a slight bit darker than the hand lum. (On my screen anyway!)
